    As an Agronomist & Operations Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting producers with expert agronomic advice, leveraging precision agriculture tools, and fostering long-term relationships. This position is ideal for someone who is:

    The Day-to-Day:


    • Provide professional agronomic and technical expertise to clients.
    • Conduct soil sampling, SWAT Mapping, and crop planning, including variable-rate fertilizer recommendations.
    • Utilize SWAT Records and ADMS software for agronomic reporting, prescription development, and logistics management.
    • Troubleshoot machine controllers and advanced precision farming technologies to support seamless operations.
    • Conduct field scouting and in-season assessments to assist with disease, insect, and plant population analysis.
    • Actively engage in producer meetings, field days, and industry trials to share insights and innovations.
    • Collaborate with the team to support operational goals and mentor seasonal staff.

    What You Bring to the Team:

    • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Agriculture or equivalent technical field or related experience.
    • 3-5 years experience in the precision agriculture industry.
    • Certified Crop Advisor considered an asset.
    • Registration or eligibility for registration with the Manitoba and Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists.
    • A passion for agriculture and a strong desire to support producers with expert agronomic solutions.
    • Proficiency with agricultural software, CRMs, and modern farming technology.
    • A self-driven attitude – you don’t need to be micromanaged and take pride in delivering results.
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Adaptability to work longer hours during peak seasons (spring and fall)

    We’re looking to hire someone in a full-time capacity (40 hours per week), with the flexibility to work additional hours during our busy seasons (April – June, August – October). Compensation will be based on experience, with a salary range of $72,000 - $80,000 annually.
